To prevent unexpected charges upon delivery, Van Huet Riding Boots arranges the customs process in advance whenever possible.

Import duties and customs-related charges apply to all goods imported into the United States. These procedures are standard for companies exporting products to the USA.

To provide clarity for our customers, we offer two different shipping methods.

Shipping Method 1 – PostNL (Import Duties Paid in Advance)

Shipment to the USA by PostNL with Track & Trace.

Import duties, customs charges and related administrative costs are paid to us in advance before shipment. We arrange the customs process on your behalf so the parcel can be cleared smoothly.

After shipment you will receive a final settlement invoice for the difference between the prepaid import charges and the final amount (excl. VAT).

In most cases:

• Your boots arrive already cleared through customs

• No additional payment is required upon delivery

Shipping Method 2 – UPS (Import Duties Collected by Carrier)

Shipment to the USA by UPS with Track & Trace.

Freight is charged excl. VAT. Import duties and customs charges are collected by UPS during shipment or upon delivery, according to standard international courier procedures.

These charges are determined by U.S. customs regulations and handled directly by UPS.

Customs regulations may change depending on U.S. legislation, tariff policy, or international trade agreements.

If new regulations affect import duties or customs procedures, we will inform customers in advance and adjust our shipping process accordingly.

Returns from the USA

If you wish to return a product:

• Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.

• Import duties previously paid cannot always be reclaimed.

• Please contact us before returning goods so we can provide proper instructions.
